Setting: Night shift in an old folks' home.
Coworker: *standing with face two feet from a big tv*
Me: *pushes him lightly toward the tv* "wanna get a little closer?"
Coworker: *grins*
Later...
Coworker: *standing with face two feet from the tv*toward
Me: *pushes him lightly toward the tv* "didn't your mom teach you not to stand so close?"
Coworker: "yeah, she told me it'd make me sterile."
Everyone: *laughs*
Nurse: "that's great! I'm totally gonna tell my kids that when they get too close."
Later...
Coworker: *standing too close to the tv again*
Me: *pushes him lightly toward the tv* "wanna get a little closer?" *pause* "do you have kids?"
Coworker: *laughs* "nah..."
Me: "so your mom was right..."
